International Molding Machine Company

International Molding Machine Company dates back to 1884 when Henry E. Pridmore began designing and building the early molding machines for the McCormick Company's foundry. In 1910 the company name was chartered. The original manufacturing plant remained in Chicago until 1946 when the current 44,000 square foot building was built in LaGrange Park, Illinois.

IMMCO still offers a complete line of Jolt, Squeeze, and Pin Lift machines for Green Sand Molding as well as a full line of No Bake equipment including Rollovers, Compaction Tables, Mold Handlers and complete No Bake Molding Systems.

IMMCO has been manufacturing Mold Handling Systems for more than fifteen years (1985). The systems are custom designed to provide the necessary cooling time while operating at a nominal cycle rate of 120 cycles per hour. The systems are designed to be compatible with either a Beardsley & Piper; Sinto; Hunter; or any other flaskless molding machine. The standard system consisting of two lines of mold cars which handle two molds per car. The system components are constructed heavy-duty fabricated steel and operated by hydraulic directional control valves and programmable controller. Mold cars are Blanchard ground on top and both ends for accurate location. All systems are completely assembled and dry cycled in our plant, disassembled and custom painted before shipment. Available in all mold sizes including: 1419, 2016, 2420, 2620, 2820, 3032 and 3232.
